We work extensively across schools, academies, colleges and universities, usually to fixed holiday windows. Operatives are DBS cleared, compounds are segregated from pupil areas, and we specify hot-work-free systems as standard so there is no naked flame anywhere on an education site.
Education roofing
Education programmes are unforgiving. A summer holiday window does not move, and a roof that is not finished when term starts is a genuine operational problem for the school rather than a programme inconvenience. We plan these projects backwards from the return date with float built in.
Safeguarding shapes everything else. Enhanced clearance for every operative, a segregated compound and welfare, a fixed pedestrian route that never crosses pupil areas, and no hot works. Where term-time working is unavoidable we agree noise windows with the school leadership in writing before we start.
