About Roof Repairs
A leak is a symptom. Water entering a building at one point very rarely got in at the same point, particularly on a roof with insulation, so a patch over the visible stain fixes nothing. We trace the entry point properly before repairing.
For urgent situations we attend, make the building safe and watertight, and stop the damage. That is a holding action, and we are clear that it is. The permanent repair follows once the cause is identified, and we quote it separately so you can see what you are paying for.
Every repair generates a short report: what failed, why, what was done, and whether the same failure is likely elsewhere on the roof. On an ageing roof that report is what turns a series of reactive call-outs into a planned refurbishment case you can take to a budget holder.

How quickly can you attend an emergency?
Attendance is arranged case by case from whichever of our two regional offices covers you. Call the office directly rather than using the enquiry form if water is entering the building, as that reaches the operations team fastest.
Will you tell us if the roof needs replacing instead?
Yes. If a roof is beyond economic repair we will say so in the report and cost the alternative. We would rather lose a repair order than take money for patches on a roof that needs replacing.
