About Commercial Flat Roofing
Commercial flat roofing covers everything from a single-unit industrial shed through to phased replacement across an occupied estate. The system is only part of the answer. What decides whether a roof performs is the detailing at every upstand, outlet and penetration, and the discipline of the crew installing it.
We are a directly employed contractor. Our operatives are on our books, trained through our own programme and approved by the manufacturers whose systems we install. Every project starts with a survey and a proposed build-up, not a price. Yes. The majority of our work is a subcontract roofing package to national and regional main contractors. We are set up for the commercial process: pre-qualification, RAMS, programme integration, valuations and O&M documentation.
Can you price from drawings and an NBS specification?
Yes. Send drawings, the specification and the tender return date and our estimating team will price it. If the specification is open we will propose a compliant build-up with the manufacturer guarantee stated.
How long does a commercial flat roof last?
A correctly specified and installed commercial flat roof should give 25 to 30 years of service. Guarantees typically run 15 to 25 years depending on system and manufacturer, and are conditional on planned maintenance being carried out.
